Birds of Paradise!

You know those weird-looking birds you see on Planet Earth and other nature shows that make you think,"Whoa, that's not a bird!" Well, it is. Obviously. And I'll do some research on it for all of us that wonder about this oddity. So, according to Wikipedia (which is accurate for the most part despite what people say), the many different species of the birds of paradise are found in east Indonesia, the Torres Strait Islands, Papua New Guinea, and eastern Australia. Also, there are tons of species. Just go look. They also have many rituals and dances. But they're pretty birds. Beautiful. Another tidbit is that they were hunted throughout century and century which has finally stopped today. And the reason they were hunted, you ask? It was because of their feathers. They were used to make headdresses and all sorts of stuff. So, there's your intake of learning for the day.
